NanoMedicine from discovery to clinical reality : therapeutics, delivery and imaging
On February 4th and 5th, 2016, the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) will host a symposium on nanobiotechnology. The meeting will focus on therapeutics, drug delivery and imaging.
This 2016 symposium is the ninth in a series. The first took place at UCLA in 2007, sponsored jointly by CNSI and the University of Tokyo. Subsequent meetings have served as venues for the presentation of current research in nanobiotechnology, especially in the areas of biology, chemistry, biomedicine/health, and the environment. Over the years the number of participants and institutions has grown larger. They have also become distinctly international with meetings held in different parts of the world each year. Prior locations have included Los Angeles, Tokyo, Kyoto, Seoul, Beijing, Bristol and Munich. The symposium will take place at the CNSI building on the UCLA campus.
