2016 INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON NANOBIOTECHNOLOGY

NanoMedicine from discovery to clinical reality: therapeutics, delivery and imaging

2016 INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON NANOBIOTECHNOLOGY

NanoMedicine from discovery to clinical reality : therapeutics, delivery and imaging

February 3-5, 2016

CNSI Auditorium, University of California, Los Angeles

On February 4th and 5th, 2016, the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) will host an international symposium on nanomedicine. The focus will be on therapeutics, drug delivery and imaging. The meeting will be held in the CNSI building on the UCLA campus.

This symposium will be the ninth in a series. The first took place at UCLA in 2007, sponsored jointly by CNSI and the University of Tokyo. All subsequent ones have dealt with nanobio and nanomedical topics. All have offered a platform for presentations of current nanoscience research in the fields of biology, chemistry, biomedicine/health, and the environment. Meetings have grown larger in size and more global in scope each year. Participants have come from the world’s foremost research institutions. The international aspect of the symposia has been reinforced by holding them in different locations. These have included Tokyo, Kyoto, Seoul, Beijing, Bristol and Munich. The tentative list of speakers includes scientists from Harvard University, Kyoto University, University of Tokyo, Yonsei University, the Karolinska Institutet, and the University of Munich
